ALAR along with its mission to spread the beauty of Chitkul among people also focuses on social responsibility towards earth and nature. All we have is this nature which serves us without any demands. We aware and spread the message to save trees, greenery and not to throw waste anywhere. We conduct periodic drives to collect the garbage thrown by tourists along the riverside or on the treks so that the beauty of nature can be maintained and tourists can enjoy the nature.

One more important responsibility is not to underestimate or harm the culture of rural people living here who are mostly dependent on tourism for living. It is very essential to respect the people and their culture who are making journey easier.
